An Idea Inspired from a trip to the Startup Nation, Israel
Everead is the project deliverable in a Marketing Planning course. The idea Everead was formed in my trip to Israel where I visited the startup Wibbitz. Working with a team of energetic students from Marketing and Global Business majors, we presented ourselves as the founders of Everead in this simulation project. Yet, we made an effort to develop a sound and comprehensive business and marketing plan. This project is worth sharing as I wish I could have this service provided in real life.
Everead makes news into videos
Everead wants to connect people and information, and provide a new way to consume information and to achieving our mission, information delivered by technology, interest magnified by people
It is a mobile application that can automatically create beautiful video summaries out of text articles. We are using advanced test analysis and smart algorithms to transform text-based articles into short videos optimized for a mobile screen.
We have employed a powerful and intellectual searching engine to scratch pictures sources and video. Everead can find out the main point of a news article and statistics data and concert the min to beautiful charts and info graphs. With this audio-visual experiences, Everead saves you a lot of energy and time from reading just pure text
Everead has three unique features which out-perform our competitors.
First, for the news publishers, we hope we can empower. What does it mean? It means we hope we can provide a platform that them to deliver the news and everyone will have more exposure to their news content.
Secondly, Everead digs deeper for the readers. They can find their news and fetch the information more conveniently. Those who need to learn the world quickly but have limited time, e.g. people working in Central, having long-working hours, etc. Individuals who used to love reading news but get bored of the intensive texts would love Everead.
Thirdly, it is real and long lasting. News videos are assets which can be stored, re-shared and modified, forming sustainable revenue model.
So we empower, we dig deep, and it is real and it lasts. There are no any other apps that have the same features.
