Ninja WiFi was launched in Hong Kong in summer in 2015. I joined VIV as a marketing intern in the team VIV when VIV was employed as the Hong Kong regional agent. Its selling point is an unlimited use of high-speed 4G LTE with broad coverage throughout Japan. Customers can pick up and return at the airport in Japan without worrying to carry through the journey. Different promotion strategies were developed and implemented.

Affilix System

An incentive program where bloggers/ influencers can get profit sharing on the service promoted, was used in NinjaWiFi. We had collaboration with some popular YouTubers, like Creamy who is shown in CapTV, Ruby who is known by her "Ruby Close" in her Youtube Videos. The promotion effect was prominent!

Promotion Campaign

We developed several promotional campaigns. Examples: NinjaWiFi's First Seasonal Summer Promotion Campaign,  NinjaWiFi's Summer Enthusiasm Promotion Campaign, and Chinese New Year Campaign. Also, we developed Early Bird Campaign.

 

Own Media- Promote by Content

What's more, our team developed its own media, Sasuke Daily News. It promotes the rental wifi service by content marketing, increasing the credibility and exposure of the brand by earned media. Unlike news feeds on Facebook, the articles are assets which can be stored, re-shared and modified, forming a sustainable revenue model.  We also developed a promotion campaign for the own media.
