Working closely with MENARD Cosmetics Hong Kong, VIV developed the first seasonal campaign using the Affilix Blogger Reward System, where blogger can get commission on the sales made from their sharing.
Our team incorporating the Affiliate system Incorporating with the official campaign. To avoid conflict of interests of other regional office of the costmetic brand, we were not allowed to promote our coupon system in its official social media page. Therefore, we develop our own marketing strategy. We harness one of the differentiation point of Affiliate system , which is issuing online coupon with tracking ability, facilitating Online to Offline conversion: While MENARD is promoting its seasonal campaign, we do blogger marketing with our own dedicated landing page.
As the chief designer of this campaign, I developed Wireframe, implementing the design all along to its promotion material and system display content, with close communication to the client side. Also, I also wrote the first draft of the copywriting of the landing page, as I was developing the content and the messages were new to the existing campaign.
Landing Page Design and Content Development
The launching of the Affiliate system was the major deliverable. Yet it could only be succeed had to accompanied landing page. No design layout was given,The creative work was developed by myself. Close communication and consensus have to be reached between our team and MENARD. As the design is crucial to deliver the brand identity and values itself. A lot of pilot research was also carried out to develop the colour scheme and font style matching the brand's philosophy.
In addition, I deployed the landing page into the live server, which required simple HTML skills. The buttons, passages and the Google map took a little effort to integrate into the graphics.
Challenges Faced
There are a lot of inforamtion availble to share about the brand and the promotion campaign. It was important to decide Which informationare needed on the landing with has limited room and a balance is need to reach between the amount of informatio and visual elements. Having a dedicated offer granted to Affiliate System, extra offerings were to be given to the users, posing a few difficulties to the design of the landing page:1) Three discounts were to be presented and packed in one single landing page. 2) As MENARD ( even it is one of the biggest brands in Japan cosmetic industry) own a little recognition among Hong Kong people, To potential customers, an introduction to the brand was essential, in addition to the original seasonal campaign package.
